Dropper, spray or refill

Our colloidal silver comes in three formats: a dropper for precise drops, a spray for covering an area, and a larger refill to top them up. They hold the same silver — the choice is simply how you prefer to apply it. For external use only.

This guide covers the difference between our colloidal silver dropper, spray and refill, which suits the way you apply it, and what the refill is for.

Strength is one decision; format is another. They are entirely separate choices.

Here is how the three formats differ. For the wider picture, see our complete colloidal silver guide.

What’s the difference between a dropper, a spray and a refill?

It is all about how the silver comes out of the bottle — the silver itself is the same.

  • Dropper — gives you precise drops, one at a time.
  • Spray — covers a wider area with a fine mist.
  • Refill — a larger bottle for topping the others up.

Should I choose a dropper or a spray?

It comes down to how you like to apply it — drop by drop for precision, or a fine mist to cover an area.

Both hold exactly the same silver, applied to the skin. The format is purely a matter of convenience.

Most colloidal silver uses water purified once, if at all. We use two stages — reverse osmosis, then distillation — then bottle in dark glass. 10, 100 and 200 ppm, in dropper, spray or 500ml refill.

What is the refill bottle for?

The refill is a larger bottle for topping up your dropper or spray.

It cuts down on packaging and works out better value for regular users — you keep your small bottle and just top it up.

Which colloidal silver format is best for me?

Whichever suits how you use it — we don’t decide that for you.

Plenty of people keep more than one: a dropper or spray to hand, and a refill in the cupboard. Each is sold for external use only.

Can I use the refill to top up my spray or dropper?

Yes — just top up a clean, compatible spray or dropper bottle whenever it runs low.

Make sure the bottle is clean first, then refill from the larger bottle as needed.

You can compare every format and size in the shop, and our colloidal silver 100ml vs 500ml guide covers the sizes.

Why buy from Health is a Choice

We make our colloidal silver in the UK, the way we would want it for our own family. We don’t purify our water once — we do it twice.

It is first cleaned by reverse osmosis, then distilled on top of that, before we suspend real silver in it and bottle it in dark glass — never plastic.
